LEAGUE FORMAT

Stage 1 (Teams are divided into 3 regions, NA, EU, APAC)
Match Dates: 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 April 2020
Format: 5v5 KOTH (BO1)
Teams will be play 16 matches (random opponents), 2 match per day, 8 match days

Top 9 teams from each region will proceed to Stage 2.

Stage 2 (Regional League)
Match Dates: 2, 3, 9, 10 May 2020
Format: 5v5 KOTH (BO1)
Teams will play 8 matches (Single Round Robin). 2 match per day. 4 match days

Top 3 teams from each region will proceed to Stage 3.

Stage 3 (World League)

Match Dates: 16, 17, 23, 24 May 2020
Format: 5v5 KOTH (BO1)
Teams will play 8 matches (Single Round Robin). 2 match per day. 4 match days

Top 4 teams will win cash prizes.

IMPORTANT RULES
1 Player can only play for ONE team.
1 Team can consist of 5 to 10 players.
ONLY registered players on the website/mobile will be able to complete.
A Team WILL NOT be able to add or change players throughout the 2 month tournament.
Captains is to announce the team's lineup 15 minutes before the match time.
If the team does not show up after 10 minutes of scheduled match time, the opponent will be awarded a win from walkover.

A player can change their deck between battles.
Players can use any cards (EXCEPT ROYAL DELIVERY) they wish in their deck.
Player have to accept the next match within 90 seconds during the KOTH match.

Each team or player is responsible for their internet connection and hardware.

All teams are to adhere to the Rules of Conduct or risk disqualification. These rules include, at time of writing:

1. Do not use any discriminatory language, including but not limited to any language regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual preference or personal beliefs.

2. Do not use foul language, including but not limited to excessive profanity or language that is graphically sexual, grotesque, or violent.

3. Do not make threats of real-world violence or other intended harm to other teams or our employees.

4. Do not harass, stalk, or purposely do things to make someone else feel uncomfortable or threatened.

5. Do not share personal information about yourself or other individuals.

6. Do not engage in, request, arrange, or offer illegal activities or materials.

7. Do not impersonate other individuals.

8. Do not spam, be it in text or VoIP.

9. Do not cheat: do not use third party programs, macros, client-side hacks, edited game files or anything else that may give you an unfair advantage in the game. This includes promoting or posting links to websites that provide or promote cheats or hacks.

10. Do not horde: hording is defined as two or more individuals or teams in the same match working together in a larger group than is intended for the selected game mode.

11. Do not stream snipe: this is a form of cheating and you will be banned if you do it.

12. Do not exploit bugs or glitches: If you find a bug or a glitch in the game that provides an unfair advantage, let us know about it instead of using the exploit for your own benefit.

13. Do not share your account: your account is for your use and your use alone. Do not grant access to your account to anyone else, and do not access anyone else’s account, even with their permission.

14. Teams are strongly advised to screenshot all end-of-round screens and scoreboards.

15. Tournament passwords are not to be leaked to non-participants.

16. GamelinG reserves the right to modify the prizes and rules & regulations from time to time without prior notice. GamelinG’s decision on any aspects and results in the contest is final and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained.

17. Match-fixing or throwing the game to intentionally propel another participant to a higher position is not allowed.

18. Any involved parties found guilty of breaking any rule will be removed from the tournament and may be barred from future events/tournaments.

19. These rules are non-exhaustive. The organisers reserve the right to add, remove or amend these rules at any point of time, or act on its sole discretion for the best interests of the community and event.

REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Teams are reminded that the Registration T&Cs as accepted during registration are also in effect. For reference, these are:

a. This Tournament is open to all players aged 13 years old and above. Minimum age for participation is 13 years as of 1 Jan 2020.

b. Agree that we may contact you via mail, electronic mail, telephone (call, Whatsapp message or SMS-Text) or social medial platforms, to inform you for event administrative purpose (i.e. event follow ups, event administrative brief, event updates and information) and agree to be bound by GamelinG’s Privacy Policy (a copy which may be found at <https://www.gameling.net/privacy-policy>), as amended from time to time, which outlines how GamelinG manages your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, and will be deemed to have consented to GamelinG’s collection, use or disclosure of your personal data such as photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records during GamelinG Mobile Gaming challenge (The Event) for purposes of, including but not limited to publicity purposes by GamelinG and the Event sponsors and partners.

c. Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Confirmation emails from [email protected] will be sent out to successful registrants after registration is closed. Individuals/teams may be placed on a waiting list, and will be notified as such. Rejected applicants may or may not be contacted.

d. Registrations that are incomplete or furnished with inaccurate details will not be accepted. Reasons for rejected applications may or may not be communicated.

e. In the event of a no-show, the organisers reserve the right to replace you/your team’s slot with another available individual/team.

f. Please contact us via [email protected] should you require any change in submitted registration information, including change of team member. Any such change request should be made before event starts. Beyond that, substitutions will not be allowed. Teams found to be smurfing will be disqualified. No appeals will be entertained.

g. Participants must be able to understand and converse in English, which is the language the tournament is hosted in.

h. Event dates and/or timings may be shifted due to unforeseen circumstances.

i. All participants are required to provide a valid in-game ID and username that is linked to their Clash Royale account. Clash Royale IGNs linked to a different user will not be accepted. GamelinG reserves the right to modify the prizes and rules & regulations from time to time without prior notice. GamelinG’s decision on any aspects and results in the contest is final and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained.

j. These terms are non-exhaustive. The organisers reserve the right to add, remove or amend these terms at any point of time, or act on its sole discretion for the best interests of the community and event.

k. Please adhere to all event reporting times and check-in on time. Latecomers will not be entertained. If one member of the team is unable to be present during the time of competition, the team is subject to disqualification or may have their slot given up to others on the waiting list.
